PREGNANCY UPDATE WEEK 22
6 Months already? What???
I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by . My baby is now as big as an ear of corn . How cool is that ?
I remember feeling like I was pregnant for like 3 years with Aria and with this one I feel like I found out yesterday that I was pregnant and now I only have 15 more weeks to go .
UPDATE
On Wednesday 11/7/2018 I had my level 2 sonogram which for me it was a very scary appointment to go to because at that same appointment was where I found out that Aria had an omphalocele and probably some kind of heart problems . I went to the appointment with a lot of anxiety and preparing myself for the worst but thanks to God everything is alright with Mila [that's her name ;)] . I also found out that she weights 1.7 lbs which is very good . She should be 2 lbs by the end of my six months and it looks like we are right on track .
She was very active during the ultrasound and we got to see her cute little feet and a bit of her face because she was in a position where the technician couldn't get her whole face . But she is a healthy big baby girl.

MY SYMPTOMS
-Sciatic pain . During pregnancy this can be caused by your baby's position putting pressure on your Sciatic nerve and it can be an occasional or constant pain in one side of your buttocks or leg or pain along the sciatic nerve path, from the buttocks down the back of your thigh and to the foot and it can cause difficulty walking, standing, or sitting . And for me it has been a constant pain and it has been so bad sometimes that I get stuck in one position and I can't move and my husband has to physically lift me up and put me in another position or help me walk . If I am standing upon for a little bit the pain starts. if I am sitting down for a little bit the pain starts. If I am lying down for a little bit the pain starts. If I hold Aria or try to clean my house, guess what ? The pain starts.
-Leg Cramps . Sometimes so bad that I can't find a comfortable position to sleep or if I'm already asleep it wakes me up .
-Uncomfortably numb wrist and fingers . This is the weirdest symptom of all because I've never felt anything like it . Literally my hands bother me to the point that I can't wear my wedding ring or any bracelet because they just drive me crazy and I have to take them off immediately .
-Pregnancy brain. I feel like most people don't think this is actually a thing but let me tell you that it is . I forget everything I am doing , what I was supposed to do, where I put stuff, what I was talking about . It is kind of frustrating.
-Fatigue / Tiredness . This one has made a comeback . I thought that only happens during the first trimester but oh boy I was wrong . I am having so much trouble lifting my head off the pillow lately and during the day I just can't wait to go to be . I've been taking naps with my daughter during the day because I just can't stay awake . That might be also because I am working at night time . But my goodness I feel exhausted/sleepy all day.
Those are a few of the worst symptoms that I am experiencing during this second trimester (besides having to pee every 3 minutes) . And even though this pregnancy has flown by I just can't wait to meet baby Mila and have her in my arms . And I can't wait for Aria to meet her little sister .
If you are experiencing some of this symptoms let me know and also please let me know what are some of your tips to make this process a little bit more comfortable .
